These types of plans cover accidental death, dismemberment or loss of sight while a passenger on a regularly scheduled flight. Coverage usually begins on your departure date or the date your completed enrollment form and fees are postmarked, faxed, phoned in or transmitted via the Internet. Coverage ends when the trip is completed or after 180 days, whichever comes first.
